Statement of Intent: The Toledo PC Users’ Group is a not-for-profit corporation, formed to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information regarding the use and enjoyment of personal computers.

Affiliations: TPCUG is a member of APCUG (Association of Personal Computer User Groups), which provided the APCUG logo.

Meetings: Meetings are generally held the first Monday of each month, at UAW-Local-14-Hall, 5411 Jackman Rd., Toledo, OH. In the event of emergency, members may be reached during meetings at a pay phone in the hall, 419-473-9571.
Visitors are always welcome at monthly meetings!
Executive-Board meetings are generally held after the regular monthly meetings.

Membership: Dues are $25. per year. To obtain an application, call any officer or member.

Larger ads are run in two issues from a graphics format, JPEG or GIF or … Members may place free ads for the sale of computer-related personal items on a space-available basis. Minutes of the May 4th meeting

Meeting was called to order by President, F, Miller at 7:40p.m.

I volunteered to take minutes as Secretary was not present.

Copy of newsletter was passed around. Minutes of April meeting were accepted, as moved by L. Miller, 2nd by Gene Curtis.

Treasures report by Steve Tryc, $812.14 balance. Bills coming up were discussed and to be continued for more discussion, are rent of $150 for 3 months due in July, and P. O. Box in amount of $40 per year due in July. Discussion of do we need the P.O.Box. We do if we are to continue to receive the APCUG newsletter.

There were 7 members present.

Lester Miller will discuss physical problems on PC’s following tonight’s meeting. He stated that he will not be at the June meeting.

Internet sig will be the 3rd Monday in May at Jim Bell’s place, in Whitehouse.

Floyd Miller is trying to make arrangements to have the June meeting at Asbury Methodist Church, on Door St., next to the Inverness Country Club, as they have access to the internet. He will let us know if it will happen.

Gene Curtis moved to close meeting, 2nd by J. Tenney.

Let’s Talk Stock with SSG Questions

June 6, Saturday, 2-4pm; Heatherdowns Public Library, 3265 Glanzman, Toledo. OH. Free, all welcome, and no reservation needed. Just come to learn and share.

We will look at interesting companies with special emphasis on answering SSG questions. If you attended the SSG/TK class in March, this is your opportunity to ask questions you might have since attending the class and doing SSGs on your own. The class is not a prerequisite for this session; everyone is invited. Bring ideas of stocks to study.

The library has free Wi-Fi if you would like to bring your laptop to work along with us.

Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon

Saturday, June 13, 2009, noon, Brandywine Country Club, 6904 Salisbury Road, Maumee

Cost $16. Registration should be postmarked by June 4, 2009

Our menu will offer a choice of Cobb salad, chicken club sandwich, or a trio plate consisting of chicken salad, tuna salad, and egg salad with fresh fruit.

There will be election of directors and a special recognition for clubs observing their five-year multiple anniversary.

Our featured speaker will be Tyne Hyslop, Owner and Branch Manager of Raymond James Financial Services, Bowling Green, OH. Her topic is Don’t Let the Media Influence Your Investment Decisions, an always timely and useful subject.

We encourage all members to attend and look forward to seeing you there. Guests are also welcome.
