Statement of Intent: The Toledo PC Users’ Group is a not-for-profit corporation, formed to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information regarding the use and enjoyment of personal computers.

Affiliations: TPCUG is a member of APCUG (Association of Personal Computer User Groups), which provided the APCUG logo.

Meetings: Meetings are generally held the first Monday of each month, at UAW-Local-14-Hall, 5411 Jackman Rd., Toledo, OH. In the event of emergency, members may be reached during meetings at a pay phone in the hall, 419-473-9571.
Visitors are always welcome at monthly meetings!
Executive-Board meetings are generally held after the regular monthly meetings.

Membership: Dues are $25. per year. To obtain an application, call any officer or member.

Advertizing: Business cards (2”×3½”) will be run in three issues for $5. Commercial ads: $10 for ¼ page; $20 for ½ page; $30 for ¾ page; $40 for full page. Larger ads are run in two issues from a graphics format, JPEG or GIF or … Members may place free ads for the sale of computer-related personal items on a space-available basis. Contact editor for details.

Minutes

At 19:47 the meeting was called to order by F. Miller, pres.

Tne minutes were accepted.

The treasury yet stands at $937.14. The union-hall rent is yet to be paid, for a half year $150. The report was accepted, subject to audit.

Seven members were prezent. S. Tryc told that the usual wash was arranged with Jim Bell, and his dues are considered paid. Halász asked about R. Ballogg, whose e-mail address has become bad, and Tryc answered that he moved to Chicago.

L. Miller said that the coming program will be about security.

F. Miller said that the I'net SIG will meet in Whitehouse on Maumee street.

Old bizness:

Halász asked whether the Labor-day meeting-date adjuestment was made, and S. Tryc answered not yet, he will write it in with the rent paiment.

New bizness:

L. Miller said that our closet was open, with not only our things, but theirs too. S. Tryc said that the clozet was on its side, maybe the hall is uncertain what to doo to it. L. Miller asked about keys, and Tryc answered that no new keys will come from hall, but old key for the side door yet works.

At 20:00 the meeting was adjourn'd.

PERT Using Toolkit

February 7, Saturday, 2-4pm; Heatherdowns Public Library, 3265 Glanzman, Toledo. OH. Free, all welcome, and no reservation needed. Just come to learn and share.

Once the data are loaded into Toolkit, the Portfolio Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) is there for your use. We will be using online data so we can look at any stock. Learn how this tool can help make better stock purchase decisions, and help alert you to when it is time to sell.

Bring a stock idea that you want to learn more about. The library has free Wi-Fi if you would like to bring your laptop to work along with us.
