From the President

Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 19:41 by F. Miller, pres.

The minutes were accepted.

S. Tryc reported once more the balance $887.14. The report was accepted, subject to audit.

Eight members were present. The expirations were mentioned, and L. Miller paid.

L. Miller said that he would show older programs, and would consider later a teaching or morphing program. But it was mentioned that in December the Christmas party was usual. It will be real pot luck, for there is little in the treasury. (L. Miller spoke of cups and plates. S. Tryc said that with the union hall s renovation, the club s cabinet is behind new doors & locks, to which none in the club have key. Chapman, retired from the union, and Tryc will try to come at the cabinet.) F. Miller bade the rest of the club help L. Miller and suggest programs.

The Internet SIG meets on the third Monday night, from the Asbury church any who want to carpool.

F. Miller asked whether anyone had a particular problem. Lavsky said that his machine, with Windows 98, was stuck in safe mode and asked how to end that. L. Miller suggesting booting, but Lavsky had done that. Tryc mentioned F8 during booting, and said that once his 98er would not boot and after installing anew all was well. Lavsky has only upgrade from Windows 95. Tryc offered to make full CD from his.

There was no old bizness; as for new, there was nothing but the already discussed Christmas party.

Respectfully submitted by Sándor Halász, secretary.

Let's Talk Stock with Toolkit 6

December 6, Saturday, 2-4 pm; Heatherdowns Public Library, 3265 Glanzman, Toledo, OH. Free, all welcome, and no reservation needed.

Here is your chance to see the new features in recently released Toolkit 6 from ICLUBcentral and compare it to Toolkit 5. Bring some stock ideas to analyze with this new tool. Together we’ll do Stock Selection Guides (SSGs) with online data using Toolkit 6.

This will be an opportunity to suggest a stock and see how your chapter’s directors would complete a SSG. You will see how different people interpret the same data in their own judgments; remember, there is no right answer!

Everyone may bring several ideas for stocks to study. If you have a flash drive, you may bring your SSG on a flash drive or old-fashioned floppy to share. The library has free Wi-Fi if you would like to bring your laptop.

For more information, contact Donna Bardis at 419-517-3279.
