Toledo PC Users Group Meetings
You know, a'Bear
Jr., some great man said, "Come let us reason together.". I
think that was LBJ. All those PC Users out there will know who Lyndon
was. But, you know, he got it from another great man, Isaiah.
That's what we all do at the Computer Group meeting. We are always trying to find a reason why that digital monster won't do what we want it to do.
There are no dumb questions at the meetings. A simple question and perhaps a simple answer will get someone over the hump or on down the computer road.
There they are nearly every 1st Monday night of the month. They are trying to learn more about things that no one with one mind can keep up. I bet some of them are ready to grow another head. Maybe they will find out how to put in a bigger hard drive or maybe more drives—probably end up putting floppies in their eye sockets or maybe end up with slots in the back of their heads. Wow!! This is the wave of the future, a'Bear.
a'Bear, the meetings are held generally the first Monday of each month (in
2008 on January 7, February 4, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, August 4,
September 8, October 6, November 3, December 1), at the hour 7:30 p.m.,
at the UAW-Local-14 Hall, at 5411 Jackman Rd.,
Toledo, Oh. In the event of emergencies, members may be reached during
meetings at a pay phone in the hall, 419 473-9571.
Visitors are always welcome at monthly meetings! (and members are expected)
For Program Information: 419 865-8223 or Email
Lester Miller.
The Executive Board meets on call, generally after the regular meeting.
The membership fee is $ 25.00 per year. It goes to underwrite the meeting expenses, to publish and distribute a monthly newsletter, to keep the website and domain-name, and pay for the meeting-hall. A note about the newsletter: In 2005 it was decided to publish the newsletter on line on the Group web-site in a newly constructed ToledoPCUG newsletter page. This simplified the newsletter editor's task and was a more economical way of making it available to the members and anyone else who wanted to keep up with group activities and helpful information.
By subscribing to the TPCUG Mailing List anyone can keep in touch with club doings.

Mr. a'Bear,
that was really hard work. It's time to say, "Now I lay me down to
sleep. . ." ZZZZZ
